Presenting Christ in the High Country...
banff´s full gospel church
Like the Bow River, Banff’s Full Gospel Church exists to bring life to our valley. It is the water of life Jesus offers to all who are thirsty. Jesus promised, “He who believes in Me, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38) Living water fills us with abundant life, which in turn flows out from us to others.
As the Bow River gathers strength and momentum from many sources, Banff’s Full Gospel Church receives and unites many individuals in pursuit of a common goal.
“Every member of Banff’s Full Gospel Church, inspired, equipped and united in using their unique gifts to impact the Bow Valley with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.”
The beginnings of Banff’s Full Gospel Church can be traced to home meetings started in 1922. Fred Nudd, an orphan from George Mueller’s orphanage in England, came to Banff with a desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. Sunday Services started in 1940 and the current church was built in 1969 and dedicated to the glory of God. Throughout the years Banff’s Full Gospel Church has been a meeting place of people from many places in Canada and from around the world.
